This Capricorn lunar eclipse turns my attention to such things - where I came from, what I've done, what I'm doing - those I am responsible for and responsible to. Here is a poem on such matters - I hope you enjoy it at this time.
This tree, resting 'side me
Arms languished; fingers twisting shape
that clutch the eye
and reach for the sky
And the cracked skin shows an age
where experience lies
Like grandfather's;
when he told his stories
and the children would understand,
clutching his leathered hand
Puffed chest, all proud and green
symbols his fertility
Even gnarled and bare, it still shows there
in sweet sap buried inside
or in the children that fell
And now sit beside
And the leaves lapping breath
murmur as he sighs
and shifts his mighty stance
Spreading toes in the dirt
Taking time to spread the word
Even solitary tree, comes rich in family
Preserved about his toe, his mother is so
And he drinks from her still
And she occassionally glows
Sprouting shafts of light,
to waken his mighty heart
and puff his green might
"Son", she whispers in
You'll never be dimmed
whilst my river still flows
About your toe, I shape thee to grow.
Arms languished; fingers twisting shape
that clutch the eye
and reach for the sky
And the cracked skin shows an age
where experience lies
Like grandfather's;
when he told his stories
and the children would understand,
clutching his leathered hand
Puffed chest, all proud and green
symbols his fertility
Even gnarled and bare, it still shows there
in sweet sap buried inside
or in the children that fell
And now sit beside
And the leaves lapping breath
murmur as he sighs
and shifts his mighty stance
Spreading toes in the dirt
Taking time to spread the word
Even solitary tree, comes rich in family
Preserved about his toe, his mother is so
And he drinks from her still
And she occassionally glows
Sprouting shafts of light,
to waken his mighty heart
and puff his green might
"Son", she whispers in
You'll never be dimmed
whilst my river still flows
About your toe, I shape thee to grow.

Blush peek of coyly veiled Moon
in seafoam giant arms.
Striated cloud forms velvet meadow.
Majestic fields cloak the sky.
Shine, Moon.
Don't be shy.
Bathe my dreams in wishes.
Conjure
exploratory vistas.
Through orange Summer Moon
Dream leaf glides idyllic wind
Reinventing light
