Venus and Libra love symmetry and mirrors. The planet itself orbits the Sun in a near perfect 5 petal shape, much like the petals of a rose, and the seed pockets of the core of an apple. The seductive heart shape of the fly trap also bears her name.
We are therefore in relationship territory of all kinds. As Venus moves into Libra this week she makes a Square to Pluto on the Aries point on Thursday October 15th. This may feel rather like being caught in the Venus fly trap - or to put it another way, the expression of Venus might feel rather Scorpionic in nature (intense, emotional, powerful, combative and transformative). Therefore expect some strong feelings to emerge in partnerships of all kinds.
Perhaps the current Venus/Saturn conjunction with its diplomacy might bring positive change later this week - an alternative viewpoint might be the restrictions currently placed on her might spring the fly trap!
Sunday sees a new moon in Libra which might bring a fresh perspective to the current situation. For now, remember the lessons of Mercury in Libra - charm, diplomacy, tact, communication - and beware how far and where you step - the trap is deadly!
