To Boldly Go

Mars moves into the sign of Leo today where he will have an extended stay way into 2010.  Mars in Leo is a passionate experience - he is comfortable, bold, expressive and full of vigour.  Mars is a sign of action and direction and Leo offers self expression, warmth, generosity of spirit and fun.  Celebrities that have this position very clearly are Patrick Stewart (to boldly go!) and Beyonce - both in their own unique way embody these expressive and creative outward personas.

Whilst Venus is in Libra we have a doubly whammy of loveliness.  Mars and Venus have an affinity and at this time they are both in very compatible signs for passionate fun, relationship and self expression - Mars will love to give and Venus will love the attention!  It is rather a nice period to 'flick your mane' and strut your stuff.

If there is any word of caution then it is that there is not much depth to this Mars/Venus alignment - it is very surface orientated and potentially superficial.  However, considering that there have been so many tough aspects recently this will be a welcome relief and further points to a changing of the guard so to speak - an atmosphere shift.

Mars is in Leo through December when he goes into retrograde motion until March 2010.  Therefore any important shifts that occur until christmas may not see fruition until mid next year.
