This is the first of 2 posts on this topic. Before I go into what Saturn in Libra might mean I thought it might be worth tripping through his transits since 2000 to set the scene:
August 2000 – June 2003: Saturn in Gemini
The nature of learning and communication. What feeds our minds. How we define what we think and the structure and nature of our communication whilst maintaining philosophy, faith and optimism. Learning through identity, socially and culturally.
June 2003 – July 2005: Saturn in Cancer
What nurtures us and gives us sustenance. Where do we go back to habitually? Defining our inner emotional nature and its presentation in our outer existence.
July 2005 – Sep 2007: Saturn in Leo
Our self expression. Defining our authenticity and ‘joire de vivre’. What do we love, what gives us pleasure – defining our fire, spirit and expression amidst our sociable and collective contacts.
Sep 2007 – Oct 2009: Saturn in Virgo
Who or what do we serve? Do we care for ourselves through our bodies – do we care for other things through our work? A process of defining our routine of give and take, our habits, the plough that we furrow. Defining our service to ourselves and compassion for others.
How these transits have personally affected you will depend upon where the particular sign is placed in your chart. However, the ‘theme’ will definitely still be presented. My next post will examine Saturn in Libra in more depth.
