Full Moon In Aries

Sunday October 4th sees a Full Moon in Aries.  This one may appear to be big and bright in the sky because it is the closest full moon to the autumnal equinox - sometimes dubbed the 'Harvest Moon' or 'Hunters Moon' because of the increased amount of light offered while the Sun has set.

This full moon then throws increased light upon the axis of Aries and Libra - the dichotomy of retaining a strong sense of self, being self motivated and driven, passionate and creative whilst retaining partnerships, communication channels, friendship balance and fairness.

The energy of the full moon is always one of 'fullness' - it is powerful, emotional and deeply receptive and aware.  This then will be a period where we may be in tune with our partners and our own personal desires.  The sabian symbol for this aspect is 'A Flock of Wild Geese' - rather fittingly this symbolism also speaks of brotherhood and togetherness.  The full moon then is asking us to be receptive to our own individuality and personal desire whilst affirming our sense of the collective which binds us all together for the common good.

Have a nice weekend :-)
