Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune

A slightly different format for this weeks post. This week is dominated by the Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune conjunction in Aquarius and in the nature of the aspect I thought I'd do something different!

So, what does this mean? Well, firstly this is something that doesn't happen too often - the last time they came together was 1945 in Libra marks a point in time where society shifts dependant upon the nature of the planets. These three planets signify growth, expansion, dreams, healing, compassion and in Aquarius a touch of 'socialisation' occurs. Negatively expressed they can show over idealism, misguided euphoria, dogmatism. We can see these themes being played out now - in particular in our political arena - the fall from grace of many of our politicians as the expenses scandal increases - it's interesting that this seems to have stirred the general public in such a way that we are now very interested in how we want our political system to operate. Fringe parties are being talked of more and independant MPs - the people are finding their voice and want the system to change radically - the movement of Pluto into Capricorn (talked about here) is also a character in this play - ripping up the establishment rule book to generate a new order. This shift is also occuring in other arenas - the credit crises and realisation that capitalism is essentially flawed will see an increase in exchanging services with others in different ways (this has been happening for a while in the entertainment industry for example). Climate change is also another area that should get an increased focus as we begin to think in bigger pictures, in a more humanitarian context. Of course, none of this will come without some struggle and in particular some institutions will seek to claw bag control further and further as they see it slipping away - expect more 'big brother' stories, increases in the invasion of our personal privacy. Technology will be used as a main driver for these changes.

And personally? Well, this planetary line up will be sitting in our own horoscopes and similar themes will be played out in our personal lives. Embracing change, freedom and employing 'out of the box' thinking will help our personal stories unfold - clinging to the past, being rigid, employing the same old criterias will not work. This week, the planet Mars touches these three planets - whenever Mars comes into play action occurs, it gives the story an 'energy boost' - use this to your advantage this week.
